There is an old saying that "he who shows up late to the party, does so in fashion".
Okay, maybe we skewed that phrase a little bit, but when Tokyo Marui (TM) releases a new gun on the market, we're always intrigued by how innovative they can be, and have always been (we're looking at you, Marui Man).
Since the beginning, TM has been a household name in the airsoft world. Reliability is their game, and you'll never hear someone say "A TM is only good once you drop OEM parts into it". TM has always been good right out of the box, and when most of its Chinese competitors are pushing higher fps and lower cost, TM has always stood firm on quality and innovation.

Whenever a new M4 is released, it tends to lend itself an *eyeroll* here and there. There are just WAY too many in the market and in so many different price ranges. With Tokyo Marui, there is something quite different about this one...
Ever used a GBBR and found that your bolt catch only works sometimes? Yeah, we've noticed that on WE's a lot, but that's for another discussion.
TM has created, in layman's terms, "a bolt catch that works 100% of the time".
The ZET system uses proprietary parts to redistribute the force caused by the bolt catch, bolt, and magazine. This redistribution of force allows for a more reliable catch. Not a reason to purchase one, yet even consider that defective little piece you currently hold? How many times have you got into a firefight, thinking you're lighting someone up, only to realize that you ran out of bbs 3 mags ago? *sarcasm*
Obviously this isn't a realistic feature, but c'mon, if you had a choice of '1:1 realism' or 'reliability', 9 out of 10 would pick the more reliable airsoft gun.

Another unique feature is its 'double roller' assembly. Where traditional GBBRs had a roller bearing on the trigger to help glide the bolt back, TM has built one into the bolt as well, for double the rollage.
TMs have always been slightly more expensive than other airsoft guns, and they come at a lower standard fps (280), but this GBBR is perfect right out of the box on those CQB days. Check out a few videos below and let us know if you'd consider Tokyo Marui once again.
