Over $500 in Gift Prizes! |
GrinchIf you choose to be naughty, collect Santa's toys and exchange them for high grade heartless snowballs. Find the proprietary launcher and launch snowballs at the navigation towers of the North Pole. All the Grinch wants for Christmas is to see Santa fail and Christmas burn.
The Grinch and his loyal, but unloved dog Max will be assisting anyone who is naughty. |
SantaIf you choose to be nice, help Santa save Christmas by collecting his toys and launching them in his sleigh (He doesn't like anyone getting too close and chipping his wicked paint job). Escort the sleigh to the landing strip where he can take off and deliver gifts to nice boys and girls.
Santa and his Little Helper will be fully loaded and willing to fight alongside anyone who is nice. |
Limited spaceArmadon believes in "quality over quantity". More players doesn't always mean more fun. North Pole Rising is a special event held during a normal day of airsoft. When registering, simply choose which time slot you'd like to play in. Once the game is complete, you are free to play Christmas-themed games on Velocity's many manicured fields.

Santa's sleigh has been shot down by Mr. Grinch while flying over the town of Whoville...but this is 2015 Whoville, and its citizens are heavilly opinionated and of a diverse culture. Not to mention they're packing heat. Do you choose to be 'naughty', or 'nice'? Help Santa collect his toys so that he may deliver it to the children, or partner with Grinch and assault the North Pole - because let's face it, there is nothing more annoying than an overjoyous Christmas-spirited elf.

Gameplay Overview
- 16 v 16 -- both are teams of Who's from Whoville
- Game time: 90 minutes
- Each team can choose to be NICE by HELPING SANTA or NAUGHTY by HELPING GRINCH (both teams can choose either side, or work on both until one is complete) in order to capture and hold the Whoville Christmas tree.
- If HELPING SANTA -- Find Santa's GIFTS and LAUNCHERS scattered throughout the field and LAUNCH the GIFTS into his SACK. He can't trust you to get near his SACK and his SLEIGH until all GIFTS are in his SACK. Afterwards, escort the SLEIGH to his landing strip so that he may take off. His pre-flight check takes time, so make sure that the opposing Who's don't shoot out his landing gears.
- If HELPING GRINCH -- Find Santa's GIFTS scattered throughout the field and trade them in to the GRINCH for SNOWBALLS. Find LAUNCHERS and launch SNOWBALLS to knock out Santa's NAV TOWERS. Grinch will only give you so many SNOWBALLS per gift you trade him. Some are worth more than others. SNOWBALLS are limited, so be careful! If you run out, you've failed the Grinch!
- Once Santa or Grinch have fulfilled their missions, they will aid that specific team. The Who's are against each other fighting to claim the coveted CHRISTMAS TREE by lighting it to their team colors. Whoever has control of the lit tree at the end of 90 minutes wins.
Respawn Rules
- Each team of Who's will have their own ENCLOSED RESPAWN point complete with AMMO DEPOT for reloading bbs and gas
- No spawn camping both inside and out
- No medics

- Santa
- Santa's Little Helper

FAQ
1) How does this event differ from previous Armadon-hosted events?
Previous Armadon events (and most airsoft events in general) have always replaced a normal day of play. North Pole Rising will be the exact opposite. It's a special event held during a normal day of play. This means that you'll have the opportunity to play normal holiday-themed walk on games IN ADDITION TO your special 90-minute session of North Pole Rising. This means you won't be tired by lunch time *wink*.
One of the more traditional excuses for a player missing out on a special event was due to their schedule...work...school...faith...kids...we all have lives outside of airsoft. We've created a system that is North Pole Rising that will allow players the opportunity to choose when they'd like to play. If their kids have sports in the morning, the player can still make it to airsoft in the afternoon wave.
North Pole Rising is a more 'intimate' event, meaning that the playing field will be just full enough to allow breathing room for everyone while still allowing for multiple avenues of trigger time. Did we mention that we'll also be adding more structures to the field?
2) Any sponsors for your event?
Traditionally, sponsors have been the main supplier of prizes and giveaways.
We want Armadon to be synonymous with "different", "fun", and "goodwill". Not "insert big name here along with airsoft gun prize that won't see the light of day"
We still entertain the idea of having sponsors for our events. This event is special, held during a special time of the year. Let's not make it look like NASCAR (no offense, mate).
3) Soooo if you don't have sponsors, who will supply prizes and giveaways?
Ahh, yes. See, we've already figured that one out. Tis the season of goodwill and cheer, and we've taken it upon ourselves to be the suppliers of our prizes in the Dirty Santa Gift exchange. Don't fret, the prizes won't be cheap-quality. In fact, you'll find them to be slightly 'unconventional' yet still very valuable (up to $100!). Take it which way you want, but in the end, we're doing it for charity -- for the kids.
4) What do I get with the $28 price of admission?
You get access to a standard walk-on day of play at Velocity's beautiful field plus you're special session of North Pole Rising. Don't forget to purchase your Dirty Santa Gift Exchange ticket!
5) What if I want to play multiple games of North Pole Rising?
We've only got space for 96 slots (3 waves of 32 players). If you'd like to play an additional wave, head to the Armadon tent during gameday and we'll see what we can do.
